Making the stars personal

As many of you may know, I am a reader of the tarot. I’m not ashamed to admit a moon phase addiction and a bit of an astrology fanaticism. Astrology at times completely stumps me though and the moon doesn’t always speak to what I’m feeling, energy wise. I google and research different sites trying to get a feel for the upcoming planetary formations and phases. I’ve looked so many times at my birth chart I should know it by heart now and trying to remember where my houses reside, in which zodiac and in what degrees make my head spin. While it is useful, it tends to be very general with the way it explains what I can expect as an individual. That’s when I turn to the cards to add a little personal insight. With so many different types of decks and art on each one so different anyone can find something that really speaks to them. I find tarot art to be truly inspiring an artist. It’s so cool for helping get a good picture of what I need to work on or something I can look forward to. Today I pulled one card from each of my decks just for this week to share with you.

Together these are some pretty awesome cards to pull, but what do they tell you? Asking yourself a few questions regarding the cards can help you pull specific things that apply to you on a personal level.

  • How do I feel when I look at these cards together?
  • How do I feel about each card by themselves?
  • What about them stands out to me?
  • Any specific color I am drawn to?
  • Are there any specific words or thoughts that come to mind when I look at them?
  • Do the cards seem to have a theme throughout?

Most important- DO NOT THINK! Tarot is about intuition. That gut feeling. Listening to what it has to say requires the mind to be quiet. Try it and see what you can glean from the cards even if your brain tries to take over. I have no doubt you’ll see something in them that applies to what is going on in your life. The cards tend to bring into perspective things you already may know but were not quite able to see clearly.

I love combining all the divining tools. Each one brings value and a bit of insight to give on their own as well as together. So much to learn and so little time. Remember to have a little fun with it.

Decks used in this pull:

Sacred Rebels Oracle

Night Sun Tarot
